Use these approved care points when operating and inspecting a motorcycle battery.

Reduce unnecessary electrical load on the battery.
Do not allow the battery to become fully discharged.
Regularly clean dust and dirt from the top of the battery.
Inspect the motorcycle battery at least once every month.
Keep the battery away from excessive heat and overheating.
Keep the battery body and terminals clean.
Batteries may generate hydrogen gas. Keep them away from flames, sparks, cigarettes and other ignition sources.
